What I love to work on
eCommerce Development & Strategy
I work regularly with Shopify and BigCommerce. From strategy to design and UI/UX to custom development work. I love hearing about new problems and figuring out together how to execute them.
Editing Blogs & Articles
I write and edit articles/blogs for small businesses and also have 3+ years of technical writing experience for scopes/proprosals, documentation, and user manuals. In addition, I was editor-in-chief for the UVIC Her Campus Chapter for 3 years.
Mentorship - including University direction
During my time at UVIC and after graduation I have been an advisor, tour guide and worked with the orientation and recruitment team for 4+ years. I know how to navigate the confusing and overwhelming world of University and have led over three dozen students through the process. I create custom resources and dive into one-on-one chats varying from finding out what degree is right for them, to discovering what their passions are and what career opportunities are out there!

These are some groups that I try to regulalry engage with whether its contributing to the community, attending the events, mentoring, volunteering or taking a workshop. These groups focus on areas that I am passionate about and I truly value the communities they have fostered.
